Take a moment to give a round of applause to the incredible natural wonder that is the Grand Canyon. It deserves heaps of praise, and a visit. Awe, and maybe a bit of existentialism, await you at the Grand Canyon’s edge. Deep and wide and layered in earthen colors of sand and sunset, the mere sight of it brings meaning to time.
Those sorts of feelings and realizations can be found all over Arizona. Bewilderment at the sight of a loop of saturated blue wrapping around a center of red land at Horseshoe Bend. Freedom on a walk through javelina – and coyote – occupied lands of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Amazed at the beautiful Kartchner Caverns, which are worthy of miles of echoing “oohs” and “ahhs.” So cheers to the Grand Canyon – and a standing ovation for the state as a whole. In Arizona, it’s as much about what you see as it is about what you feel.
